UPSC JOURNEY: Born in Rajasthan, and brought up in state of Chhattisgarh. I did my schooling and graduated in Chhattisgarh itself. I think my educational background is very humble but what really forged me for UPSC was my father, he is the foundation of my inspiration. Grew up idealising him, his service and his integrity really made me believe in the notion of –
“UPSC, a cradle of service to the nation”
The past four years unfurled like chapters in a book, pages marked with trials and errors. There were setbacks but they only propelled me forward. I believe it’s only in adversity that we get the chance to introspect. Then it was in my fourth attempt, at the age of 24, that I could get what I dreamt of.
Each day, I committed myself to growth. I worked on the weak areas along with strengthening the strong ones. My younger brother became my steadfast ally, guiding me through the challenge of writing under pressure with his little stopwatch.
On the day of the result, I cried more on the inside than on the outside, I just took a look at my family, the joy in their eyes was beyond my imagination. The magnitude of this achievement is surreal. Gratitude fills my heart for this opportunity.
To all the CSE Aspirants who are in this from all the remote corners of the country, I would like you to know that when it comes to preparing, what matters most are the hours you put in and how well you use them. It doesn’t matter where you are, as long as you have a good plan. I was fortunate to have people around me who created the perfect environment for studying. They boosted my morale, and I never felt tired or bored. You have to love and enjoy this process.
My journey felt like bouncing on a trampoline – after every low point, I only tried to score higher.
यूपीएससी यात्रा: राजस्थान में जन्मे और छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य में पले-बढ़े। मेरी स्कूली शिक्षा और स्नातक की पढ़ाई छत्तीसगढ़ में ही हुई। मुझे लगता है कि मेरी शैक्षणिक पृष्ठभूमि बहुत साधारण है, लेकिन जिस चीज ने मुझे यूपीएससी के लिए तैयार किया, वह मेरे पिता थे, वह मेरी प्रेरणा की नींव हैं। उन्हें आदर्श मानकर बड़ा हुआ, उनकी सेवा और उनकी सत्यनिष्ठा ने वास्तव में मुझे इस धारणा पर विश्वास दिलाया –
“यूपीएससी, राष्ट्र सेवा का उद्गम स्थल”पिछले चार साल किसी किताब के अध्यायों की तरह खुल गए, पन्ने परीक्षणों और त्रुटियों से चिह्नित थे। असफलताएँ आईं लेकिन उन्होंने ही मुझे आगे बढ़ाया। मेरा मानना है कि केवल विपरीत परिस्थितियों में ही हमें आत्मनिरीक्षण करने का मौका मिलता है। फिर मेरे चौथे प्रयास में, 24 साल की उम्र में, मैं वह हासिल कर सका जिसका मैंने सपना देखा था।
हर दिन, मैंने खुद को विकास के लिए प्रतिबद्ध किया। मैंने मजबूत क्षेत्रों को मजबूत करने के साथ-साथ कमजोर क्षेत्रों पर भी काम किया। मेरा छोटा भाई मेरा दृढ़ सहयोगी बन गया, और अपनी छोटी सी स्टॉपवॉच से दबाव में लिखने की चुनौती से निपटने में मेरा मार्गदर्शन कर रहा था।
रिजल्ट के दिन मैं बाहर से ज्यादा अंदर से रोई, मैंने बस अपने परिवार पर एक नजर डाली, उनकी आंखों में जो खुशी थी वह मेरी कल्पना से परे थी। इस उपलब्धि का परिमाण अवास्तविक है। इस अवसर के लिए मेरा हृदय कृतज्ञता से भर गया।
देश के दूर-दराज के कोने-कोने से इसमें शामिल होने वाले सभी सीएसई अभ्यर्थियों के लिए, मैं चाहूंगा कि आप यह जानें कि जब तैयारी की बात आती है, तो सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि आप कितने घंटे लगाते हैं और आप उनका कितना अच्छा उपयोग करते हैं। इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि आप कहां हैं, जब तक आपके पास एक अच्छी योजना है। मैं भाग्यशाली था कि मेरे आसपास ऐसे लोग थे जिन्होंने पढ़ाई के लिए आदर्श माहौल बनाया। उन्होंने मेरा मनोबल बढ़ाया और मुझे कभी थकान या ऊब महसूस नहीं हुई। आपको इस प्रक्रिया से प्यार करना होगा और इसका आनंद लेना होगा।
मेरी यात्रा एक ट्रैम्पोलिन पर उछलने जैसी महसूस हुई – प्रत्येक निम्न बिंदु के बाद, मैंने केवल उच्च अंक प्राप्त करने का प्रयास किया।
